If you have not heard the tale of how Scott Wilson conceived the idea for a cool watchband for the iPod Nano, then got it funded via the KickStarter program and went on to get his creations sold in the Apple stores by negotiating a better than average profit split, then here you go!

What’s up at The North Texas Regional Center for Innovation & Commercialization?

In an attempt to keep Entrepreneurs, Start Ups and Developers informed, I thought I’d share an update from the NTRCIC or The North Texas Regional Center for Innovation & Commercialization.

With the Texas Emerging Technology Fund not receiving funds the last two funding rounds, the NTRCIC is offering a “Pitch Day” to fill the void. Pitch Day will be held quarterly and will be attended by a large group of venture capitalists (including VC’s outside of Texas), angels, family offices, and financial firms.

Do you archive your Facebook data?

As I was updating some Facebook information it occurred to me to save a copy of my data. Yea I know, once I put it on Facebook they probably have some ownership stake too, but aside from that, I think it is a good idea to have a current back up copy of my data “just in case.” So here is the process:
