Facebook Fan Page introductions gets easier
Untill recently, if you’ve ever started a new Fan Page on Facebook, you know that you’re only method of promoting the page to your friends was through recommendations, usually at a low response rate because the recommendations were tucked away in the corner of the Facebook sidebar.
Facebook has introduced a new way to recommend your Page to your friends so that they’ll appear as notifications in Facebook and, depending on the user’s settings, in email, Inside Facebook reports. Users will now be able to click through to the page via the notification and Like it, though there’s no functionality allowing them to act on it from the notification box itself as there is with friend requests.
